I have seen bug for issues that seem to be computer hardware related, but I don't think full crashes at the start have been reported. If you are running the game on Windows, try the win32 version, but this is most likely some sort of issue related to the Godot engine rather than something I can fix on my end.
Been bouncing around the public version and it takes some getting used to, but I can't figure out how you are supposed to consume things (Like carrots)
Items from your inventory are used only if they are selected (blue gem above), and if they have any power on the target encounter (amount of red gems above). Selection defaults back to hand if you attempt scouting with an unusable item. Some encounters will give you a different reward if you finish scouting with a specific item (animals give you coins for food and trees give you fruit when using sticks or rocks).
I'd like to add a tutorial that explains everything in a playable level, I just need to figure out some code stuff for getting custom maps working right.
Hey I have a question, is the person that gets picked at the end of an expedition RNG or can I affect the choice somehow? Edit: Never mind, it think i discovered how it works.
Scouting the rival splits the party in the next map. Companions get taken if adjacent to the rival, otherwise Piper gets taken and you play as the companion. Scouting with 1 open tile around the target will guarantee that Piper is chosen, while scouting with 2-4 guarantees that his companion is chosen. Only your final scouting action counts and as of v2 spells can also trigger this interaction.
Thank you for checking out the update, and playing all the way through to when the second companion shows up! I had plans for everything I added in this update since the start, but there was just no way to get it all ready for the jam. As of v2, I think I have the basics of almost every major feature I planned to add, so now there's plenty of time to expand upon it all in v3 and beyond! Music is one of the things I can't make myself, so I always try to tailor a bit of the style and pace of my games to any audio tracks I add.
I would prefer if they were a little more focused on ntr, and had a little more hardcore scenes. But I think any good ntr game should have some degree of comedy. It's the woman blatantly cheating on their partner without them realizing either because of obliviousness, 3rd party interference, or absurd world logic after all
One of my biggest personal problems with the games though is I don't like when several characters are involved in the ntr, I like more along the idea of secrets of the bastion or summer sweepers where there's a specific character meant to be the one doing the ntr, and the rest of the characters generally play a supporting role in assisting the same goal in one way or another, so just one character rather than a bunch of characters with ntr scenes. I think it diminishes the significance and 'taboo value' of the event. if that makes sense? I might not exactly be thinking of the right words
I tend to have fairly large casts of characters in my games, so the stories can get a bit unfocused. I feel that a narrowly focused narrative will not keep everyone's attention over multiple updates, so to have the support to make games like Sweepers or Bastion I need to have a bit of something for everyone. I also just enjoy having variety, so it's not something that goes against my goals and desires. Big fans of NTR stories don't always think that my games go far enough, while those who don't like the genre avoid them, but I think I've got enough of an audience in the middle who like what I do. A game that I'm planning to start making later this year after Priestess and Charmers are finished, will probably feel closer to Bastion in terms of the NTR scenario.
That's nice to hear, l hope to see a longer game that goes further than before. I think there could be a bigger audience to be had for it, especially if people who don't like ntr avoid your games altogether. but the lack of focus is something that puts me off, If I could give any advice maybe in the future you could mess around and get creative with the genre? Of course that's just a few of my thoughts, Good Luck with your games
It's a bit of a mix, but I try to make it easy to skip any scenes that players may not like. Summer Sweepers was my first big game, and I tried to gate the sexual encounters behind a couple of initializing events to make sure that players can avoid scenarios they dislike. My more recent projects don't really have that, so I recommend taking a look at the cast to get a sense of the types of sexual scenarios you may encounter.
Of course! There are only 4 lewd events for now, but a gallery will be added as the game expands and it gets tricker to find everything. Probably in the v2 or v3 update.
I will have a look to see if it's possible in the future. Because my games have pixelated art, they don't always work on various specialized resolutions that phones use.
Just what I could get done in a month for now! I've never made save systems in Godot before, so I didn't have time to learn how to make them for the game jam. Saves and galleries will be added in a future update.
hiii impy are you going to have a male ntr antag/protag story similar to summer sweepers anytime in the future? ive replayed that game alot haha <3 much love!!
A lot of the cast in my latest games got picked by my subscribers, so some of this is up to the voters. I'm trying to set up quotas in those polls to ensure a bit more variety, but male characters tend to be the least popular ones. I will try to get a couple of new male rivals to appear in some of my ongoing and upcoming games, but even in the days of Summer Sweepers the community wanted more of Abigail rather than Ram.
I don't think I can make games by commission right now, I'm always too busy with my projects to take on another, but I really appreciate the offer!
Thank you, the last 7 months have been very difficult with how much I've been doing, but I think I'm finally getting to the point where things won't need to be as hectically paced. Now I will start slowly fleshing out all 3 of my new projects, the most popular one will get extended into a game that will be roughly the same size as Secrets of the Bastion.
Hmm, I didn't realize that the gameplay was essentially Desktop Dungeon, a game I was never very good at. But knowing that should help me get further. It could use a more clear explanation of systems or something to make enemy levels and stamina usage more obvious. The characters are fun and the art is great, but that is expected. I'm curious to see how this develops since I was never that good at desktop dungeons so it would be cool it this could buck the trend of that game becoming just too hard to get further on/getting tedious.
I want to make the interface a bit nicer in the future to help players quickly see what they are doing without worrying about numbers too much. Unlike Desktop Dungeons there is no recovery for encounters, so the game is less about picking the right one, and more about choosing where to allocate your resources. In the future I want to offer access to the rivals and any associated events in a variety of zones of varying difficulty so that players will be able to set the challenge that they want to face without having to worry about missing out on any of the sexy stuff.
The could be some animal stuff. The game is coded in a way that allows me to add events to any tile I want. It all depends on how long development goes and what's being requested. What I can say for sure is that familiars will not have sex scenes because I want to add impregnation for companions (there will be others besides Gwynn) leading to new familiars being born. To stay on the safe side of various regulations I don't want to put the familiars into sexual situations.
It's more that I'm worried about how character age is interpreted for familiars. I also don't think I want to go in the "breeding sim" direction beyond just having a few familiars that you can get through pregnancy, there are many far better scenes that I can add to the game instead. It's a decision that is both potential legal protection for my games and players, and is just a better use of my limited time.
There are occasional issues with Godot games not working correctly on some computers. Sometimes the web version works, but in this case the web version didn't work even for me, so I didn't upload it. You can try the win32 release or running the game with opengl support through command line (you shouldn't need to do that in this version of Godot, but it may help).
Godot is very fast growing and constantly updating, so hopefully you'll be able to play future releases if this one refuses to start on your machine.

I can't seem to run the game for some reason. Once i open it it's just a white screen then it shuts down by it's self. What could be thee reason

Hell yeah V2 update~! Honestly adds so much that was needed.
Appreciate the shrines, familiars buffs, and partner addition too~ :D
Also either one of the new areas has a great track, or I forgot one has a banger.

Love all the NTR games!
Thank you! My games tend to add a bit of a comedic flavor to the genre, but I'm happy to hear that they fit your tastes!

Howdy! quick question about all of your games, are they all straight or do they have a mix straight, gay, and all that stuff?

3 new games in quick succession. Good job! Don't burn out tho, you make great stuff :)

I love impy games
I can't play the game because of a volcano or something like that (sadnes)
I looked for the problem, I watched a video in Russian, I discovered that my PC could do strange things, but in the end I opened the game (happiness)
nah, the game comes out completely black i cant play it

Ohh, this looks quite good, I'll try it out tomorrow. Certainly need more big hipped bois and deer herms.
It's a short game made in a single month, but I think it does a good job of showing what it will offer as it continues to grow!
