I'd like to preface my comment with a few things. I am a very bad minesweeper player. My success with puzzles is very inconsistent. All that being said, I think this game is very well put together at a fundamental level. It works well enough to get me invested for more than one run which is saying something. I even got to see a couple of the more lewd scenes so it's pretty accessible. I enjoy the art and layout of the game itself. I can't say this game is built poorly in the slightest.
The only complaints I have are either minor issues or quality of life issues, both can be sorted out in time. It's already been stated and noted, but I do have to mention that the objective clarity and sphinx puzzles could use a bit of touching up. I'd also personally like to see a bit more clarity for scenes that happen in the span of 1-2 turns, like the receptionist in the hotel. I didn't get to see that one happen at all. Maybe that's a fault of mine for not having very good predictive timing, but my point still stands.
As an aside, I'd also really like to see a change to the current dialogue. Some scenes are going to be repeated. That's just how the game works. I'd like it if the more those repeat scenes are viewed, the more of the dialogue you decipher, like changing the scribbles to actual script. That would make them more interesting in my opinion. I'm no game dev, so I couldn't exactly say whether or not that's a viable option. My guess is that you'd have to run a condition check that says something along the lines of, "if 'scene' has been viewed X or more times, change dialogue lines to..."
All in all, I'm happy with the game and hopeful for more positive progress in the upcoming updates! Best of luck to the dev(s)!
Thank you, I'm very happy to hear that you have enjoyed it. I have been considering adding an ability to send a teammate to the sphinx puzzles to figure out the solution for you or at least give you a hint if you're stuck.
The receptionist at the desk isn't really a scene at all, it's just considered one by my code, future updates won't show the "!" on the map. In the coming update events will also remain for longer on the map but only play once if you have visited the location. This should cut down on both the repetition and annoyance of having the characters unavailable.
The idea of decipherable dialogue is neat, but I think I'd prefer to spend the time just adding more text variations instead. I already have it set up so that each scene can have several dialogue levels and adding more isn't too difficult. As more scenes and variations are added to the overall pool, repetition will go down.
I would appreciate that as I can't seem to get the sphinx puzzles down for the life of me. I've played through a second time, doing much better and getting a couple more lewd scenes. I could have sworn I had it right but it didn't work out, so I'll have to try a different combination next run.
On the topic of lewd scenes, are there only oral scenes currently? If so, do you plan to expand to more types of scenes? If not, I guess I should do better at minesweeping and see them myself.
That works too. If less scene repeats are planned for the future, that's still progress. As long as it doesn't impede in the scenes most people came to see, I'm all for it. Best of luck!
You've probably already seen all the sexual content this version has to offer. More scenes are coming soon for the current cast of characters as well as a couple of new ones a little later into the future. I plan to steadily add a few new sexual encounters to the game with every major update.
You'll have an easier time figuring out what you've done wrong in Sphinx puzzles in the coming patch. The game will list the changes done to each tile, so you'll be able to count exactly how many candles you've lit or which pillars are activated without revisiting all the previous locations.
I'll keep an eye on how much trouble players are having with my puzzles. They're a large part of all of the games I made so far, but I understand that unlike a more physical or tactical challenge, they can become very frustrating if they just don't click with the player. Hint systems for cases where puzzles bar game progress are probably a must.
It's extremely annoying that you can't pull up the quest log, I keep forgetting what I should be doing after running around for several minutes.
The pirate Sphinx puzzle doesn't make any sense to me, it says to light up one candle for each of them yet there's plenty of ways to interpret that. It says that they started as six, okay so we light up six candles, wait no three left, okay 3 then, no one more joined, okay so that's 4? Wait no they doubled so that's 8 candles then, but no... Fuck it is it 12? I still don't know. I solved the color puzzle with ease for comparison.
And what about the zombie one? Once I've uncovered the entire map there's nothing left to dig up, there are no pots, there's only monkeys and rabbits that sell matches and other ways to make matches, and there's two fucking Sphinxes that contradict each other. All in all, the light candle puzzles are cancer. Sexy sphinx though, some interaction with that'd be cool.
Also a few of the maps you just go back and forth 23 times to wait for their attacks to refresh so you can get rid of a mine just to find the last chest, which often ends up in one or more days being spent for nothing.
Otherwise, it's a fun little game with minor hentai content, not much to do though since there's nothing you can do with the money and there is no interaction with the scenes. Also it gets a bit repetitive watching the same scene 1000 times wasting turns hoping there's gonna be something new.
Definitely agree with keeping the quest conditions visible in game view somewhere, I'll add that in. An option to abandon an active quest will also be added in the future for those who get stuck.
I realize that the sphinx puzzles are not something for everyone and once more quests are added in they will go into their own separate quest branch.
Scene repetition is something that's being worked on. The progression will be a bit more clear in the upcoming patch and individual events will only be viewable once before the scene ends.
Thank you for the review, detailed critique helps me improve my content.
Great game so far hope you continue to make this. I hope you add a way to tell what level the scenes are at one day as i had them all reset before when i had only 3 days left
You mean the character events? They do intentionally partially reset after some of the more lewd encounters and river baths. They ramp back up fairly quickly afterwards. The exact balance is not great at the moment, it's something I'll try to adjust in the future.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! The next update is already in the works.
I'm a bit stuck on the sphynx puzzle. I've read the riddle, and I've seen that there are 3 red and 3 blue pillars, and from what I ca tell my solution makes sense? Can't seem figure out what I'm doing wrong. Interesting concept though! Well done!

Exactly two blue and one red pillar glowing is the solution, the rest should remain empty.
To finish the puzzle head back to the Sphinx and the option Act->Solve should become available.
