⭐V2 Announced!


Version 2 of Secrets of the Bastion will be publicly available for download starting on May 14th.

-V2 Changelog-

New Content

  • A new assignable character.
  • 12 new cards to collect.
  • A new room.
  • Complete rework of the core gameplay.
  • An unlockable dungeon that allows you to engage in card battles while no breaches are in progress. Has 2 possible encounters.
  • Card battle temptation events.
  • Multiple editable decks.
  • Start of game boosters and post-game point awards to unlock them.
  • Fully reworked event system (should look the same, but has significantly more capabilities. events can be predicted in advance for collection purposes)
  • A new audit screen. You can bribe the auditor if you're losing glory in the 2nd and 3rd audits for an additional scene.
  • High score display screen.

Bug Fixes and Quality of Life Improvements

  • Interesting events that you haven't seen yet will show a notification on the daily activity screen.
  • Added a "reset" button to the schedule screen.
  • Activity log now show secrets being discovered and warns about increasing stress levels.
  • Added new help screen entries for game basics and the new game content.
  • Various menus have improved in form and function.
  • You can now press "spacebar" to navigate through text boxes.
  • Stress will correctly reset at the end of the day.
  • Fixed a large quantity of other minor bugs.

Game Balance and Other Changes

  • Added a card swap mechanic. You can send cards to the bottom of your deck at the start of the battle and at the end of any of your turns. You take the same amount of new cards off the top.
  • Fully rebalanced card battle difficulty and added scaling. (Rooms you open later are harder to suppress in a breach).
  • Winning in all 3 categories in card battle will move either you or the opponent 2 spaces, making it possible to win on the last turn even if you're pushed all the way to the edge.
  • Added an option to spend money to clear a breach.
  • Lewdness can now become permanent. Every additional "0.4" bonus points earn you a base "0.1" lewdness.
  • Some cards will only become available after the associated character gains "0.2" permanent points of lewdness.
  • The game now ends after 4 audits are complete instead of a certain number of secrets being discovered.
  • The leftmost door is now a mystery option.

Alright, Getting a new flash of erotic energy to write. Mind if I write a bug Room? Though it'll be off of the this update.

Of course, feel free to channel your inspiration in whatever direction you like. I'm always delighted to hear that my games can be a source of creativity for other artists.

Hopefully I can inspire you again, though you seem to have a bunch of lovely rooms right now. Hopefully this time I'll get a proper sense of the characters XD, felt a little bad making a that mistake with Espa

Awesome! A new hud designw, 4th member, and even more possibilities

The hud doesn't just look different, the game plays differently too. It's a lot easier to plan your actions and predict the results.
